The all-sophomore (and some senior) California State High School Exit Exam
takes place this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 1 and 2. Students
taking the exam should report to school by 7:30 am. There will be signs and
volunteers directing students to their testing venue . Students should bring
a Picture ID, a jacket to keep warm, and something to read.

All volunteers should report to the Jacket Gym first to sign in and receive
instructions. Please come as close to 7:15 am as possible so we will be
prepared to check students in in a timely fashion. The second and third
shifts should also report to the Jacket Gym (at 8:30 am and noon).

Below are the rest of the instructions which ran at the end of last week.

PLEASE NOTE: calculators, cell phones, and iPods are not allowed during the
test. If a student is caught using any of the electronic devices above their
score will be invalidated.

The CAHSEE is not a timed test. It usually takes 2-3 hours to complete each
section; however, students will have an entire day to complete each

section of the CAHSEE.

When students finish their test they will go back to class or a designated
supervision area.

Please remind your student to get plenty of rest the night before the CAHSEE
and to eat breakfast before taking the test. The food court will be

open a half hour earlier for breakfast and stay open an hour longer so that
students may eat lunch. Students will not be allowed off campus

after our regular lunch period.
