The Police and Life Academy for Youth (PLAY) provides an introduction to
and in-depth look at local criminal justice and law enforcement practices.
Starting this Wednesday, January 26 we will spend 9 weeks (11 sessions)
covering topics that range from knowing your rights and practicing them,
to emergency preparedness and career opportunities.  This first class will
feature a Q&A session with UCPD and BPD police chiefs followed by program
orientation and a tour of the police department.

 

Sign up today with Mr. Skeels in Community Service Professions (CSP) or
Ms. Johnston in Community Partnership Academy (CPA), OR contact Fele
Uperesa with the Berkeley Boosters at 845-7193 or email at
fuperesa at berkeleyboosters.org  to secure your spot. There are only 5 spots
