The holiday season is quickly approaching and it can be a great time to
buy scrip!  The scrip itself is a great gift or you can use the scrip when
you shop for gifts.  There is no extra charge for using scrip, the money
BHS earns by the sale of scrip comes directly from the merchants!  

 

Many merchants on Solano Avenue accept Solano Avenue Association Gift
Certificates and BHS gets 10%!   Below is a partial list of participating
merchants.

 

Peet's cards also make great gifts.  They come in $10, $20 and $50
denominations and BHS makes 10%.  These are electronic cards that can be
spent down one latte at a time......

 

We also have Five Star Video scrip and Berkeley Bowl scrip. Five Star
gives BHS a whopping 20% and the coupons are in $10 and $20 denominations.
Berkeley Bowl comes in $20 denominations and we earn 4%.

 

SO......if you shop at any of these stores consider using scrip and bring
some money to BHS.  The BHS Development Group runs the scrip program and
it supports many activities and programs at the high school from LCD
projectors and graphing calculators to guest dance artists, costumes for
plays, and First Step Scholarships, to name just a few.

 

*Solano Avenue Association comes in $10 denominations.  Here is a partial

and CDs,  Persimmon, Ideas 4 Elements, Steve's Auto Care

 

Health:  Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy,  Whole Earth Apothecary

 

Remember, there is no extra charge for using scrip, the money BHS earns by
the sale of scrip comes from the merchants!
