ADMINISTRATION

 

*1. Attention all students and staff: Canned and fresh food is needed for
the annual Holiday Meal. Please donate to your community.  One in 6 people
in the Alameda County are struggling to make ends meet. Please donate cans
at the bins located at the C,D, G and H bldg entrances.  Let's collect a
pound of canned and boxed goods for every person here.

Start gathering cans now and think about something tasty to make.  The meal
is on December 11th at BHS.  Also come to the Leadership office to volunteer
to work a shift at the meal.

 

2. BART Tickets for November are in. Please pick up your tickets in room
D224 at lunchtime.  Orders for December will take place on November 18-19 at
lunchtime in room D224.  Please bring exact amount for tickets.  Price is
$16 each .  Students may purchase up to four tickets.

*3. REMINDER- Students follow the Advisory Schedule this Friday. Students
report to your advisory classes after second period.  Your advisory schedule
is still posted up near the admin office.

CLUBS

 

1. This Friday at lunch in the C Gallery the Gay-Straight Alliance will be
having a bake sale.  Come buy delicious baked goods at low prices.  There
will also be Gay-Straight Alliance shirts for sale for only $12.

 

SENIORS

 

1. Hey seniors - Buy an 11x17 inch print of the senior spellout!! This great
momento is only $5. Available in the leadership office!

 

2. College Visits - Seniors only. Sign up in advance in the College/Career
Center and pick up a permission slip. The complete list, updated daily, is
available on the BHS website at

can also find updated college lists on their Moodle site.

3. Seniors who wish to have their baby picture in the yearbook should send 1
picture with their full name to  <mailto:bhighyearbook at gmail.com>
bhighyearbook at gmail.com or bring the picture to H102B after school before
December 1st.  In addition, photos of student life may be submitted for
consideration for the yearbook.

 

EVENTS

 

1. The BHS Jazz Ensemble will hold its first concert of the school year on
Friday, November 19, 2010 at the BHS Little Theatre beginning at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $10 (general admission); BHS students and staff are free; other
student tickets are $3.  Lots of snacks and soft drinks available for
purchase.  Come out, enjoy the evening, hear great music and support these
talented musicians and BHS Jazz!!
