Youth Spirit Artworks still has a few spaces left in its PAID (stipend) fall/winter art jobs training program running Mon/Wed./Fri. 3:30-6:30pm or Tu./Thur/Fri 3:30-6:30pm. BHS students come as soon as they can after school gets out at 3:30pm.

The fall winter program runs through Feb. 4th. We are located at: 1769 Alcatraz Avenue, Berkeley near the corner of Adeline.

To qualify--participants need to be low-income, preferably living below poverty level, love art and be roughly ages 16-25 (exceptions are okay).

YSA's job training participants receive a $300 stipend for their full participation. They also receive 50% of the proceeds of every art piece they make and sell. Youth have access to case management, transportation and tutoring through our partnerships with Berkeley Youth Alternatives and Multicultural Institute.
