The Parent Portal of PowerSchool IS up and running but, in order to make it easier in the long run, it is slightly more complicated in the short run.

Last year, in order to access your student's information it was necessary to remember a string of numbers. This year, it has been set up so you may/must create your own individual login (user) name and password.

Directions to do so are below:
(Start at #4 if you remember your password and login from last year.)

1. If  you do not have a password and login from last year, or you forgot your password and login, first go to http://pspasswords.berkeley.net

2. You will need to know your child's ID #. Most students know their ID number. It can be found on their School Picture ID. Or, you may come to BHS, show your own ID, and the school will provide the number to you.

3. At pspasswords.berkeley.net, you will receive a parent login and parent password. Write them down. If you had a child in the BUSD last year, this is the same parent login and parent password.

4. Go to ps.berkeley.net. There you will see Login and Create an Account. BEFORE you can login, you must create an account--even if you were at a BUSD school last year.

5. Click on "Create an Account"

6. Where is says Access ID, type in Parent Login

7. Where is says Access Password, type in your Parent password.

8. You will now be able to create an individualized user name and password which you will be able to use from now on. Be sure to click on "relationship" before you hit submit or you will have to start all over.

9. Armed with your new user name and password go to Login which is located at ps.berkeley.net
