In mid-August the College Handbook Committee, a parent group, mailed (by
bulk mail) a copy of the newly revised "College Application Handbook for
Parents and Families of Seniors, Class of 2011" to the home of every senior.
This handbook was written to provide comprehensive information for the
parents and families of seniors so they would have detailed information at
their fingertips about the steps of the college application process and
advice from other parents about the process.

If your student was new to BHS and registered after August 15 and did not
receive a copy of the College Handbook, have your student come to the
College/Career Center to pick up a copy.  Since we were only able to obtain
funding to provide one copy of the handbook for each senior, if you are a
two-household family and would like another copy, you can download it from
the College Career Center website.  Go to http://bhs.berkeley.net, then
click on Services, then on College Career Center.  On the Home page, scroll
down to Soph., Jr., and Sr. College Application Handbooks, and click on it,
then click on the College Application Handbook for Parents and Families of
Seniors Class of 2011.
