The whole-school student leadership program is growing and reorganizing to
become a highly effective service organization for the student body and
greater BHS community.  It includes an executive team with several
commissions to meet the needs and interests of the school community, a
student house of representatives, and class leadership groups.  About 120
students hold official positions in the whole-school leadership program and
dozens of others regularly volunteer.

In order for these students to practice serving the school in a professional
manner and for the executive team to support other student clubs and
organizations we are seeking laptop computers to be used mainly for word
processing and powerpoint presentations.  Thus we ideally seek laptops that
have Microsoft Office or iWork installed on them, but we are not too picky -
our secretaries, committee chairpersons, and task forces would greatly
appreciate your donation of any type of reliable laptop.  

The laptops will be kept in a secure location on campus and used for
official meetings.  Students will not be allowed to use them for regular
personal use.  

Of course your donation will be tax-deductible.  Upon receipt you will
receive a letter that includes the BHS Tax ID number and serves as record of
your generous gift.  Thank you so much for considering a donation to the BHS
