The Berkeley High School Development Group is pleased to announce that it
will fund Freshman sports and assistant coaches for 2010 - 2011.  A special
meeting of the Board voted this weekend to approve the funding that BSEP was
unable to cover this year.  This grant will enable freshman and JV sports to
be fully continued at BHS, saving these essential student programs from
being potentially closed due to school district budget cuts for the coming
year. This grant illustrates the value of the Development Group's mission to
the quality of student life at BHS.

Please consider a donation to the BHSDG to help us continue to fund programs
at BHS in this time of state funding cuts--you may make a tax deductible
donation--see "how you can help" on our website at www.bhsdg.org.

we raise via escrip are for the Berkeley Athletic Fund.  Escrip information
