On Friday June 11th we were sufficiently satisfied as 27 applications were submitted for the Berkeley High School principalship opening to continue the selection process. The applications were screened to confirm eligibility based on experience, credentials and documentation eliminating all but the top candidates. 

The week of June 21st the Technical and Community Panels (already formed for the first round) will conduct interviews. Once the panels have selected their top candidate(s) a second round of interviews by the Superintendent, Board Members and Human Resources will select the top candidate which will be recommended to the board, hopefully on June 30th.
