More information on Graduation
1. TICKETS ARE CASH OR MONEY ORDER ONLY. Tickets for graduation are now
available in the Registration Office, D173. This office is located right
inside the main entrance of the school immediately to the right, across from
the main office. Purchasing hours are from 9:00am to 3:30pm every weekday.
No ticket sales after 3:30 pm. Inquiries about tickets can be directed
towards Bobbye Reed, BHS Student Body Accounts Manager at 510.644.6847.
2. COUNSELORS MUST SIGN OFF ON THE FIRST FIVE TICKETS PURCHASED AT THE FREE
AND REDUCED RATE. ADDITIONAL FREE AND REDUCED TICKET SALES must receive the
student's small school administrator's signature. Each graduate is allotted
two tickets at no fee that must be picked up in D173. Seniors are able to
purchase additional tickets at $15.00 each. Parents/Guardians of seniors
enrolled in the free lunch program can purchase additional tickets for
$5.00.
3. All seats for graduation are general admission. Disabled seating is
limited and students with family members or friends who require disabled
seating should make arrangements in advance with the Director of Student
Activities CHRIS YOUNG at 510.644.8990. Only one person may accompany each
disabled guest in the disabled seating area.
4. THE SHUTTLE BUSES ARE FREE AND OPEN TO ANYONE GOING TO THE GRADUATION.
They will run continuously until everyone is transported.
Shuttle buses to the Greek Theatre will be available from Berkeley High
School's Milvia Street entrance beginning at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 18th.
Buses will return to Berkeley High School following the graduation ceremony.
