ADMIN

1. Students who are in danger of failing a class or who are behind in
credits should apply for Summer School. Counselors are working with students
to help them sign up, but the more adults pushing students to make up
credits, the better. The brochure and application are available at the front
office. Applications are due by Friday, May 28.

*2. This is the last call for all BART ticket Orders for the school year.
You may order up to 12 tickets if you are in Summer School.  Tickets can
only be used in the Summer for school related activities.  Ticket prices are
$16.00 for a $32.00 value ticket. Orders will be taken on June 1st and 2nd
at lunchtime only!  All ticket orders will stop at the end of lunchtime
(12:16) on the 2nd of June.  If you need tickets for your return to school
on September 1, 2010, then now is the time to purchase them.  Tickets should
arrive at BHS between June 11th and 14th--watch the e-tree and Daily
Bulletin for an announcement of when to come in to pick up tickets.
All tickets must be picked up by Thursday June 17th or they will be sold and
refunds given to students who did not pick up their tickets.  The Parent
Resource Center will not be responsible for tickets left over the Summer
months. Bring exact funds - no checks. See Irma Parker in the Parent
Resource Center.

COLLEGE/CAREER

1. Financial Aid Workshops in the College Career Center at 3:30 pm.,
Tuesdays.

SENIORS

*1. Do you want a senior sweatshirt?  Hey Seniors, I said, "Don't you want a
sweatshirt?" Get a lasting, cool, and useful momentum of your awesomeness at
Berkeley high.  Senior hoodies are only $25 and we have all sizes.  Come to
the Leadership office to get yours today!

CLUBS

*1. The Muslim Student Associaton will be sponsoring a bake sale on May 26,
2010 at lunch time in the main courtyard.  There will be an assortment of
delicious desserts and other foods to sample at reasonable prices.  This
event is to raise  money for a senior graduation party and goodbye party to
one of our members who is returning to Afghanistan.  Please make sure to
drop by.

EVENTS

1. Berkeley High Sings! Tuesday, June 1, 7pm Little Theater - Hear the world
premieres of three (3!) fantastic new songwriters, the finalists in the
first BHS Songwriting Competition. Also featuring choral and solo songs by
the Berkeley High Chorus, Chorus Club  and Vocal Jazz groups, with the
assistance of both instrumental Jazz, the Funk House Gospel Band, Team
Awesome and the Ian Farnkopf Dance Band and Singers. This is only the second
year that Chorus has been back at Berkeley High.  Come and give this
excellent new program your support.

2. BHS Jazz Alum Benny Green to perform at Yoshi's-Oakland - The Benny Green
trio featuring acclaimed jazz pianist (and Berkeley High alum) Benny Green
will be performing at Yoshi's Oakland from May 28-30. Tickets to any show
are available to Berkeley HIgh students, their families and friends for
