ADMIN

Students who are in danger of failing a class or who are behind in credits should apply for Summer School. Counselors are working with students to help them sign up, but the more adults pushing students to make up credits, the better. The brochure and application are available at the front office. Applications are due by Friday, May 28.

ALL STUDENTS

Yearbook prices are slashed to $65 only until May 21.  They are going to $80 soon.  Get one today in H102b after school or during lunch.  Bonus: There are golden tickets inside some books.  You could win a digital camera, movie tickets and more.

VOLUNTEER

Berkeley Arts Magnet Elementary School is looking for volunteers to help staff their annual BAM JAM fundraiser, taking place Friday, May 21st from 5:45-9:00 PM.  The event includes dinner, dance, performances, carnival booths, and more. Lots of help needed staffing the fun booths. Please come join the fun and help support your Berkeley Public schools (or maybe even your elementary alma mater!!). EVENTS

Berkeley High Sings! Tuesday, June 1, 7pm Little Theater - Hear the world premieres of three (3!) fantastic new songwriters, the finalists in the first BHS Songwriting Competition. Also featuring choral and solo songs by the Berkeley High Chorus, Chorus Club  and Vocal Jazz groups, with the assistance of both instrumental Jazz, the Funk House Gospel Band, Team Awesome and the Ian Farnkopf Dance Band and Singers. This is only the second year that Chorus has been back at Berkeley High.  Come and give this excellent new program your support.
