Youth Spirit Artworks is currently accepting applications for its Summer
2010 Intensive Art Jobs Training Program in the areas of Community Art and
Studio Art. The Summer program runs from June 20th to August 21st. Studio
(Commercial) Art training is in the morning from 9:45am to 1:45pm at 2701
MLK Jr. Way. Community Art is in the afternoons from 2pm to 6pm based at our
art studio located at 1769 Alcatraz Avenue. Stipends of $300 are available
to youth who complete all requirements of these programs. 
 
Applications can be downloaded from our web site at:
www.youthspiritartworks.org or you can pick up applications at our studio at
1769 Alcatraz Avenue (near Adeline Street). Applications are due by June 8th

Youth Spirit Artworks is an interfaith art jobs training non-profit working
with homeless and low-income young people, ages 16 to 25. Youth Spirit is
based in South Berkeley, 3 blocks south of Ashby BART.
