Please consider encouraging your student who is 16 or older to apply to be a poll worker on June 8 at an Alameda County polling station. This is a great way for a young person to engage in civics. 

The student will be paid $95 to $180 for the day. Applications are available at http://www.acgov.org/rov/workers.htm or in the Leadership Office (near the salad bar in the cafeteria). For more information, phone 510-272-6971.
