Berkeley High School Drama is proud to announce the 2010 spring musical- 

"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!"

Rebecca Feldman
Directed by Jordan Winer, with Musical direction by Erica Oba

Brought to you by the award-winning Berkeley High Drama Department, this fun
one-act show follows the events that unfold during a high-stakes spelling
bee, where the quirkiest of characters all come together to share
their love for spelling. Winner or loser, each character offers a different
perspective on what it means to be a competitive speller. You won't want to
miss this spectacular show! Though these high quality high school shows used
to be the Bay Area's Best Kept Secret- the secret is out.. we regularly sell
out so please arrive early!! It was a smash on Broadway, and this production
is the bargain of the year.... a great musical, live accompaniment, sterling
voices.... don't miss this surprisingly sharp show...

Suitable for folks 8 and up....... but the humor, music, and subject matter
are mature enough for fans of Woody Allen and Stephen Sondheim....

Shows: April 8th, 9th, 10th, 16th*, and 17th. 
All shows are at 7 pm, except for April 9th, and there is a 2 pm matinée (in
addition to a 7 pm show) on the 17th. 
*April 16th show is the All-Understudy All Star Show. 

All shows will be held in the Florence Schwimley Little Theatre-1930 Allston
Way on Berkeley High School Campus. 

Tickets are available at the box office an hour before each show begins. No
advance tickets will be sold. Prices: Students $5, General $15.
