The BHS Student Leadership Team has teamed up with local businesses to offer a discount card available to anyone who may find it useful. The card includes discounts that can be used day after day at 27 local businesses, many of them downtown eateries frequented by BHS students, until December 31, 2010. See the attached image for all of the details.
The card costs $10 and can be purchased in the Leadership Office, D148 just inside the main doors of the school at Milvia and Allston. $5 of each card supports the leadership program and $5 goes to the company that helped us make the cards. Come by yourself or send money with your student.
Does your student buy lunch in the downtown area? Discounts at Subway, Quiznos, Top Dog, Tapioca Express, Peking Express, Lee's Deli and E-Z Stop Deli, Yogurt Harmony, Jamba Juice, Planet Juice and others are ready to go every day.
Love pizza? Bobby G's, Round Table, La Val's, Domino's, Little Caesars, North Beach Pizza, Pie in the Sky are all there.
Need an oil change or car wash? Discounts include $10 off at Jiffy Lube on University, $5 off at oil changers on San Pablo, $3 off at Touchless Car Wash on Kittredge.
The leadership program spearheads all major service and social events on the BHS campus including the Holiday Meal, Week of Service, Spirit Week, freshman orientation, dances, blood drives and major relief campaigns such as the Haiti campaign for Partners in Health that raised over $11,000 thanks much to you all!
Thanks again for your support,
The BHS Student Leadership Team
