*****BHS Jazz Combo Selected For Next Generation Festival in Monterey*****

The BHS Jazz Ensemble Combo A (James Gillum, trumpet; Nick Lamb, piano;
Jonah Levine, trombone; Elena Pinderhughes, flute; Erik Shiboski, bass; and
James Small, drums) has been selected as one of six finalists in the Combo
Division of the Next Generation Festival in Monterey (April 9-11).  

The intense competition for the finals included groups from 20 states and 2
foreign countries.  This is the second year in a row that a BHS Jazz combo
has been selected for the finals!  Congratulations to all of this year's
great Combo A musicians!!
