The long-awaited Parent Portal of PowerSchool--the BHS student tracking
system--will be up and running by Monday evening. Access codes were mailed
home to all families in January. If you have misplaced this important
information, please visit http://pspasswords.berkeley.net/. You will need
your child's student ID to retrieve your login. The ID number is found on
student report cards and on their picture ID. Most students know their
number by heart. With your login and password go to http://ps.berkeley.net
to check your student's grades and daily attendance.
Currently, PowerSchool can only issue a single user name and login per
family but more than one person may use the login. For this reason, please
share this login information with other family members who may need access
to this information. In situations where this is not possible, please
contact Elizabeth James at 883-6143 for help.
If you experience technical difficulties accessing PowerSchool, please send
an email detailing your problem to parentportalbhs at gmail.com. If you do not
have internet access, please come to the Berkeley High Parent Resource
Center, which is open every day from 8:30 to 3:30. The Center is looking
forward to helping you.
Berkeley High is hoping that parents and guardians will use this valuable
information to communicate with their children about ongoing academic
performance. If you have concerns and questions after looking over the
information, you should first encourage your son or daughter to talk to
their teachers directly. If the situation is not resolved, then please
contact the teacher yourself. If the situation is still not resolved,
contact an administrator. At Berkeley High, students must be included at
all steps in this process.
