ADMIN

*1. No school, Wednesday, November 25th thru Friday, November 27 for the
Thanksgiving Holiday.

2. Attention BHS students and staff:  The holiday canned food drive has
begun. Please be generous and bring as many cans as you can to your 2nd
period classes.  Place cans in the crates. The winning class gets a party.
The holiday meal is December 12th.

SENIORS

1. SENIORS! Want to buy a large copy of the senior spellout picture??  Come
take a look at it and purchase your own copy for only $5 in the Leadership
Office at lunch or after school. And come and get them quick - LIMITED
COPIES ARE AVAILABLE!

COLLEGE/CAREER CENTER

1. COLLEGE VISITS
Over 100 college representatives visit Berkeley High's College/Career Center
every year. Seniors only may attend up to 10 of those meetings, with the
permission of the teacher whose class they are missing. Sign up in advance
in the College/Career Center and pick up a permission slip. The complete
November list is available in the College Center D221. 

EVENTS/PERFORMANCES

1. Open Mic - Hip Hop, Poetry, Spoken Word, and singing on Friday, December
4th from 6-9 pm. (for ages 12-18) Takes place at Frances Albrier Community
Center-2800 Park St, Berkeley.
