Dear BIHS parents: 

Please join members of the Berkeley International High School Parent Action
Group (PAG) on Tuesday, September 15th, at 7:30 p.m. in the BHS Food Court.
We look forward to meeting all of our freshman families and giving you an
opportunity to meet each other and talk with parents of older BIHS students.
You will also get an inside view of how you can get involved with the PAG,
which helps the BIHS program meet its full potential and enriches the
experience of your student in the BIHS community. More detailed,
grade-specific meetings about the workings of the International
Baccalaureate program, with BIHS's teachers and administrators, will be
happening throughout the month of October. (Dates will be announced soon.) 

Parents of students in all grades are welcome at the meeting.  We are
particularly hopeful parents of older students will be available to share
their experiences with parents of new students. 

We hope you can join us to find out how you can help BIHS be successful, and
to provide the support that will make all the difference.

Estimados Padres y Madres de familia y guardianes, 

Les extendemos nuestra cordial invitación para asistir a una junta con
miembros del grupo de acción de Padres de la escuela internacional de
Berkeley (PAG) el martes, 15 de septiembre a las 7:30 en la cafeteria (Food
Court). Esperemos con mucha anticipación ver a todas las familias de
estudiantes del primer año (Freshman) y darles una oportunidaad de conocer
uno a otro y hablar con familias de otros estudiantes de BIHS. Tendrá
tambien una vista especial de cómo se puede involucrar en el PAG, el cual
ayuda al programa de BIHS a realizar su potencial y enriquecer la
experiencia de su estudiante en la comunidad de BIHS. Durante el mes de
octubre la escuela tendrá reuniones especialmente designadas para familias y
estudiantes en cada año del programa, con maestros y administradores, y
pronto se publicarán las fechas. 

Padres de los estudiantes en todos los grados son bienvenidos a la junta.
Esperamos que particularmente padres de estudiantes mayores se encuentren
disponibles para compartir sus experiencias con los papas de los nuevos
estudiantes. 

 Esper amos que puedan venir para enterarse de como ayudar a BIHS a tener
éxito, y para proveer el apoyo que es tan importante.
