Memo to Faculty, Staff and parents: End of Year Mental Health Referrals

Due to the upcoming end of the school year, the Berkeley High Health Center
staff will no longer be accepting written referrals for mental health visits
after Friday, May 29th. 

If you know a student who you feel needs to be seen for Mental Health
Services, please accompany them to the Health Center, and speak with a
mental health clinician regarding your concerns.  Students will meet with a
counselor for up to two visits to assess their needs and, when appropriate,
they will be referred out to community resources for further care.  

Summer Mental Health Referrals: 
Please note that the Health Center will be open during the summer for brief
counseling sessions.  Students may call the front desk (644-6965) to
schedule an appointment with Mental Health staff available.
