BHS Environmental teacher Mardi Mertens is looking for some chaperones interested in expanding science education by chaperoning her students on a series of trips.  If you can sign up for one or all, please let her know as soon as possible. Below are the times and dates.

Thurs. April 23, 8:30-3:15:  I need volunteers to accompany my students and me on a trip to the Tilden Nature Area, for pond habitat exploration with Naturalist James Wilson.

May 1 and May 8, 8:15-3:00:  To accompany my students and me on a marine biology exploration.
May 1:  The rocky shore, plankton microscope work, bay marine ecology
May 8:  A day on board the research ship Cordell, exploring the SF bay

May 21-22:  Slide Ranch Overnight
We need drivers!  Staying with us is optional.
Slide Ranch is a magnificent environmental education center on the ocean near Muir Beach, in Marin. We will study California's biodiversity, and experience sustainable living (goat milking included).
