Several Berkeley High artists, including Ben Bloom, Jeremy Dopkin, Maya Aguo-Feng Schmidt, Josie Marks and others, have donated pieces to "Unleaded, Please!" an event Friday to raise money to fight air pollution in West Oakland. The auction is at Excel High School (2607 Myrtle Street) in West Oakland on Friday March 20, from 5-8:30 pm. There will be a short documentary on the issue, food, silent and live auctions of local artwork, and live performances. The suggested donation is $3-20, but nobody will be turned away at the door.
If you aren't available that night, you can still make an impact on the fight for clean air in West Oakland through a tax-deductible donation: https://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/1541/t/1417/shop/custom.jsp?donate_page_KEY=46 03
This event is open to the public. Please contact me if you are interested or have questions.
