You are all invited to attend this one time only extravaganza - BHS Jazz alums spanning over 3 decades will come back to Berkeley to perform in this afternoon event honoring both Charles Hamilton as musical director for 27 years and the legacy of this unique program that has influenced so many musicians.

PETER APFELBAUM is coming from N.Y. to be the musical director and is bringing together alums from near and far: Rodney Franklin, Steven Bernstein, Jessica Jones, Dave Ellis, Josh Jones, Dayna Stevens, Hitomi Oba, Kito Gamble and dozens more alums from BHS will be performing.

The BHS Jazz program has thrived since 1966 due to the support that Jazz has received by the Berkeley community throughout the years. The experience many students had at BHS has sparked careers and passions in so many musicians. This will be a one of a kind afternoon concert!!! Greg Bridges, local jazz radio personality will be master of ceremonies. There will be many tributes given and amazing performances by so many talented musicians who sowed their seeds at Berkeley High.
