Tonight, Wednesday, February 4, the PTSA and BHS Administration will be co-hosting a public information forum on the latest revision of the Berkeley High Redesign Proposal. The meeting will be held in the BHS library from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The changes being suggested are significant and everyone with an interest should make sure to attend. (The matter will be voted on by the BUSD School Board next week on Wednesday, February 11.) There will be a range of participants, including Superintendent Bill Huyett, BHS Principal Jim Slemp, Director of Evaluation & Assessment Rebecca Cheung, Manager of Family & Community Partnerships Lisa Warhuus, BHS teachers and more. There will also be a public input segment as well as a question and answer period. It should be a very informative evening.
We hope to see you there!
February 11, 2009 School Board Meeting:
The School Board will have its final discussions on the proposal, and will vote on whether or not to accept the Redesign Proposal (in either its current form or some altered version of it). Once again, we highly encourage everyone to attend.
