The City of Berkeley Public Health Division will conduct a
community-wide FREE flu vaccine clinic.
Tuesday, October 28th, 3:00-7:00pm
Berkeley Adult School Auditorium
(1701 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley)
Not only will this be a focused effort to vaccinate members of our
community, but the clinic is also being run as an Emergency
Preparedness Exercise - which means we are using it to help prepare
city staff and volunteers for what might happen in a large health
emergency. Our goal is to vaccinate 700+ people (mostly kids &
families), and we will be offering both FluMist and the injectable
version. Anyone 6 mths and over is encouraged to come!
Parking for the Berkeley Adult School is available off of San Pablo
Ave. However, seniors and those needing special assistance should
enter on Curtis Street where there will be a special line/area
designated for them.
Interested in volunteering to help with the flu clinic? If you have
clinical experience (LVN, RN, NP, MD, etc.) please contact Janet
Cusick at 981-5329. If you do not have clinical experience but would
like to volunteer (hand out flyers, etc.), please reply to this email
or call 981-5300.
