WriterCoach Connection (WCC), which brings community volunteers into
middle and high schools to work one-on-one with students on writing,
got its start at Berkeley High in 2001. Berkeley RepertoryTheater is
opening its season with "Yellowjackets" -- a premiere production by
Itamar Moses, a Berkeley High-graduate playwright, which takes
place at Berkeley High.   "When the school newspaper publishes an
insensitive story, students suddenly find themselves embroiled in a
volatile controversy -- and even their teachers seem unprepared to
deal with the repercussions."

The three benefit nights are:

Friday, September 26, 8 pm
Sunday, October 5, 7 pm (join us for a pre-theater reception next door
to theater - upper lobby of the Roda Theater)
