[BHS etree] STUDENT DIRECTORY: Volunteers needed for 2008-09 BHS Directory

For three years, the BHS PTSA has published a directory with contact
information for BHS staff and programs and for those students and
families who have elected to be listed. We're still looking for a few
volunteers to coordinate the preparation and publication of this
essential communications tool for the 2008-2009 school year.
Here is what is involved:
June - July: Prepare listing election forms for inclusion with the
student registration mailing.
August - September: Collect student/family listing election forms and
coordinate the input of student/family listings and the update of
listings for BHS staff and programs.
September - October: Coordinate sales of sponsorship spaces on
directory covers; finalize staff, services and student sections of the
directory; arrange for printing.
November: Coordinate distribution of printed directory.
This is a volunteer job that you can do on your own time which
provides tremendous benefits across the entire school community.
Also, if you have ideas about how the directory might be improved,
this would be the perfect opportunity to implement them. The
volunteers who have supervised these efforts this in the past no
longer have students at BHS but are giving generously of their time to
provide "institutional memory" and other forms of back-up assistance.
