[BHS etree] ADMIN: Morning lockdown, situation resolved

  This morning before school several of our students were threatened by a boy who claimed to have a gun.  The school and police department responded rapidly and the school "locked down" that is, kept students in their classrooms until the situation was resolved.  The perpetrator has been apprehended. No gun was found though the investigation is continuing. 
   
  On another issue, yesterday, agents from the Immigration and Naturalization Service took a Berkeley family in custody.  They were the parents of former students. The school will not allow anyone any INS agent to come on campus to take a student away.
