Junior and Senior High School students are invited to participate in
Speech Trek - a Public Speaking Competition for Public High School
Juniors and Seniors.  Speech Trek is a program of the Berkeley Branch
of the American Association of University Women - California.  

There are two drop-in informational meetings after school on February
14 and/or February 19, 2008 at Northbrae Community Church at 941 The
Alameda, Berkeley, CA.  The Speech Trek Competition will be held on
February 23, 2008 at 1:00 - 3:00 pm.  You must be pre-registered and
attend an informational meeting to compete.
 
The top three competitors will receive cash prizes:  1st Place - $150;
2nd Place $100, and 3rd Place $75.  The first place winner may be
considered for a State Finalist.
