The Berkeley High PTSA Newsletter is looking for 
a new editor and, ideally, a staff of two or 
three people to support the new editor.  The 
Newsletter is the only regular outlet for 
communication that reaches every BHS household 
and, as such, provides an invaluable link between 
the school and the BHS community.  The PTSA 
Newsletter is published approximately every 6 
weeks and includes articles supplied by the BHS 
administration, the PTSA and various school and 
community groups.  One of the big bonuses of the 
job is that you get to meet with Principal Jim 
Slemp and PTSA and other parent leaders on a 
regular basis – you’ll be one of the most 
well-informed people in the school.  Although 
some experience with desktop publishing is 
certainly useful, it is not necessary, as we will 
provide training to anyone who needs it.

The Newsletter is one of the most significant 
contributions the PTSA makes to the BHS community
