"RACE & ETHNICITY"
A thing called race is the fabric that binds us together. It comes in
different colors and threads. The threads of this fabric are woven
into the very fiber of our being. Ethnicity refers to the social and
cultural forms of identification.
Berkeley High School is a melting pot of diversity, comprised of many
different ethnic groups and cultures. So what role does race play in
the high school experience?
Dr. Barrie Thorne, PhD Sociology and Women's Studies Department at UCB
