Next week is Spirit Week: four days of dress-up followed by Friday's Senior
Spell-out,  BBQ Club lunch, a Spirit Rally of unparalleled Red and Gold
exuberance, and the homecoming football game and parade. Kids plan all year
round for Spirit Week and it IS a lot of fun; it is also a lot of work for
our staff who are responsible for the safety and well-being of our students.
One of the most challenging moments of the week is shepherding everyone into
the Donahue Gym in a timely fashion and for this it would be helpful to have
five or six parent volunteers to help check armbands and direct students to
their appropriate cheering section from 1:30 to 2:30. If you can help,
