College Advisor's Bulletin
Wednesday, October 10, 2007

SAT WORD OF THE DAY: TRUNCATE – to shorten by cutting. Because I
waited until the last minute to finish my college essay, when I
realized that it was 100 words over the limit, I had no time to edit it
and instead truncated it by cutting off the last paragraph.
