In case any of you missed these items in the College/Career Bulletin,
please note the following important dates and workshops:

SAT/ACT TEST DATES -
* Thursday, October 11 is the late registration deadline for the
November 3 SAT Test and SAT Subject tests
* Friday, November 2 is the late registration deadline for the
December 8 ACT test.  
Fee waivers for low income students are available in D221.

For free test prep, go to www.number2.com .  This site offers free
prep for both the SAT and the ACT.


APPLY TO THE UCs AND CAL STATES NOW! 

The UC application is now available online at
http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/ .  You can start
your application and work on it now.  The first day to submit your
application is November 1. 
The Cal State application is now available at www.csumentor.edu .  You
can start the applications and save them as you go.  


COLLEGE APPLICATION WORKSHOPS AT BHS

Sign up to attend the application workshops where you can get
one-on-one help with both applications.  All workshops will be held in
the BHS library.

FOR SENIORS APPLYING EARLY 
Your Counselor Recommendation forms (Secondary School Report Forms),
Transcript Request forms and envelopes are due one month prior to your
earliest deadline.  If you have not yet turned in your forms, please
see Ms. Harris, Ms. Abrams or Ms. Price as soon as possible.
