Think you might enjoy tutoring fourth and fifth graders? Consider
becoming a Mentoring for Academic Success volunteer tutor. It will
give you great experience and allow you to contribute something
special to a child's life and education.

Commit to working after school 2-4 days a week, 1.5-2 hrs. a day, at
Black Pine Circle or Thousand Oaks schools. Can't commit that much
time? Volunteer to be on call 2-4 days a week to fill in for tutors
who can't make it to work that day. Speak Spanish? Your skills are
in great demand. Practice your Spanish and help a kid at the same
time!!!

Become a MAS tutor. For more information contact Lisa Hlass at the
Multicultural Institute (lisa at mionline.org; 848-4075x.13)
