Calling all Berkeley High parents and friends-if you believe in the 
importance and joy of good writing, and love to see students succeed, 
you'd be a great writing coach!

WriterCoach Connection (WCC) returns to Berkeley High to give 
students in the Community Partnerships Academy one-on-one feedback on 
their classroom writing assignments. With individualized support 
throughout the year, WCC volunteers encourage students to become more 
confident and competent writers and thinkers. 

You don't have to be a writer or teacher to volunteer. WCC provides 
the hands-on training and mentoring you'll need to be a terrific 
coach. Then all you do is commit to 1-2 hours approximately two 
Friday mornings per month (1st and 2nd periods) for volunteer work 
that is incredibly satisfying.

Berkeley training schedule:
Training #6: Tues. 9/11 & 9/18, 12:00-3:00 pm
Training #7: Wed. 9/19 & 9/26, 12:00-3:00 pm
Training #8: Wed. 9/26 & 10/3, 6:30-9:30 pm
Training #9: Thurs. 10/11 & 10/18, 12:00-3:00 pm
