1,  BHS athletic packets now available online
2.  Sports physicals including free sports physicals on AUGUST 11 at 
Children's Hospital OAKLAND
3.  Tryout dates

1.  BHS student athletes must have an annual sports physical as part of 
the completed BHS athletic packet which must be turned in to the coach 
on first day of tryouts. If you don't have a packet you can get one 
from the BHS Administration office (entrance on Allston Way),  BHS 
Health Center, BHS Athletic Office and now it is also available to 
download from the Berkeley Athletic Fund's Web site 
<www.berkeleyathleticfund.org> (there is a *forms* link on the lower 
left  side of the screen).

2.  Berkeley High Athletics is pleased to begin our partnership with 
the Sports Medicine Center for Young Athletes at Children's Hospital 
and Research Center Oakland.  On  SATURDAY, AUGUST  11th from 
9:00-11:00 AM in the Outpatient Center, they are conducting free 
physicals for anyone who may need one.   The Outpatient Center is 
located in the Orthopedic Department. No appointment necessary.   Any 
athlete wishing to participate in sports physicals at Children's 
Hospital and Research Center at Oakland must bring a blank Berkeley 
High School Athletic Packet with signed parental consent OR be 
accompanied by parent or guardian.  Children's Hospital & Research

Sports physicals may also be obtained from your private physician and 
the Berkeley High Health Center (there is no charge for  the services 
of the BHS Health Center -- call 644-6965 for an appointment).


3.  August 13, 2007: Football and field hockey
August 20, 2007:  Varsity Girls Golf, Varsity Girls Tennis, Varsity, JB 
and Freshman Girls volleyball, Varsity & JV girls and boys Water       
Polo, boys and Girls Cross Country, boys and Girls Crew.

Student Athletes:  No matter where you elect to have your physical, 
make your appointment NOW!   You will not be allowed to tryout with out 
a sports physical and as it gets closer to tryouts dates, appointment 
times fill up quickly!
