Greetings BHS Families,

Congratulations to the families of the students in the class of 2007!
You have made it!  Best of luck to all of you as you send your
children on to the next phase of life!

Graduation
----------
* The graduation ceremony will be held this Friday June 15, 2007 at
the Greek Theatre.  The program will begin promptly at 5:30 pm and run
until approximately 7:30 pm.  

* The graduates must report to the Greek Theater at 4:30 to line up
for the graduate procession.  Please make arrangements to have your
graduate there on time--there will be considerable traffic congestion
just before graduation, so it is recommended that students allow
themselves an extra margin of time.  

* Caps and gowns must be worn to graduation.


Graduation Rehearsals
---------------------
There are two mandatory rehearsals for participation in the graduation
exercises:

* The first is this Thursday, June 14, at 2:00 in the Community
Theatre.  At this rehearsal you will be given directions for the
rehearsal the following day at the Greek Theater.  

* The rehearsal at the Greek will be at 9:30 on Friday morning (June
15), so please make arrangements to be there on time and ready to
participate!


Disabled Seating
----------------
There are still a seats available for those families in need of
disabled seating.  If you need disabled seating, please contact Edith
Jordan preferably by phone at 510-644-8990.  The seating is limited so
call soon.  Also disabled parking is limited and will be available on
a first come first serve basis.  Due to the limited amount of parking
at the Greek, families in need of disabled parking are advised to
arrive early because it will not be guaranteed.  There will be a
shuttle available from the high school to the Greek that will be able
to serve disabled guests. 


Shuttle Services
----------------
Shuttle buses will be available from approximately 3:45pm until 5:30pm
and will resume service again after to graduation.  The buses will
pick up from BHS and will take families free of charge to the Greek
Theatre.  There will be a shuttle bus for disabled guests.  The
shuttles are estimated to run every 15-20 minutes and will also be
available for transportation after the graduation.


Graduation Parking
------------------
There are no designated parking areas for students or families at the
Greek Theater.  Parking is on a first-come first-served basis and is
very limited.  Disabled parking passes can only be obtained with proof
of appropriate decals.
