Reminder:

What: Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) Meeting - last of the school year
When: Wednesday, May 9th
Time:   7:00 pm
Place:  Kristin Glenchur's office, right next to Donahue Gym

Why:   BAF supports BHS athletics by raising money to support 
freshman sports, coaches stipends, uniforms, equipment, special 
events.  For the past several years we have given BHS $20,000/year to 
keep freshman sports gonig. We also help with volunteer hours from 
taking tickets to staffing the snack bar.

Parent participation in BAF has dropped off to 3 people and 2 of us 
will have seniors next year and be gone as of June 2008.  We need to 
regroup and bring in new parents for the coming years.  The time 
commitment is small, but it is REALLY needed.

We also have our Hall of Fame event on June 2nd.  This is will be a 
fun event but only if we get more help to pull it off.  I'll have a 
list of things that need to be done before and during the event so 
you can pick something that works with your schedule.

If you cannot come, let me know and I'll sent you a list of needs for 
the Hall of Fame event and for next year.
