Dear Berkeley High Families and Staff:

Some key info about next week's STAR testing:

Students will be taking tests in their 2nd period classes. Students
are to arrive by 8:30 a.m. on exam days and proceed directly to their
2nd period class.

Monday, 4/23, is a regular school day for all students.

Seniors will not participate in the exams and therefore will be coming
to school later in the day from Tuesday through Friday. Start times
for seniors are as follows:

Tuesday (4/24) and Wednesday (4/25)  12:56 p.m.
Thursday (4/26) and Friday (4/27) 12:01 p.m.

Freshman families should be aware of the following schedule notes:

Tuesday (4/24) and Wednesday (4/25) all 9th grade students report at
8:30 a.m.

On Thursday, 4/26, 9th grade students who are not taking a science
course should arrive at 12:01.

The majority of 9th grade students are taking either Advanced Biology,
Advanced Integrated Science, or Integrated Science. These students
should arrive at 8:30 on Thursday for testing.

On Friday, there is no Social Studies test for 9th grade students and
they should report for classes at 12:01 p.m.

Juniors and Sophomores should report at 8:30 a.m. all week.

I am attaching a copy of the bell schedule for next week to this note
as a Word document.

I know this is a bit confusing, and I understand that these shifts in
scheduling can be inconvenient. Please call the office should you need
further information.
