Forty Years Ago Today. . . yes, it has been 40 years since the fateful
Summer of Love.   To mark this occasion BHS is producing the musical
HAIR.  The student actors are working hard to try to understand  what
this whole "thing"  was all about.  To help out with this research
effort I have offered to collect images from parents and friends of
parents made during the late 60's and early 70's.  

I will make a display in the cases of the theatre lobby using copies
of these now precious photos.  If you have photographs from that time
please forward them to me.  I will scan them and make a print for the
display.  You may have the scans and digital prints in return for
sharing your images.  

You can leave images, labeled with your name and contact info, at the
front desk.   Call 510-845-3449  or  email janet at janetdelaney.com. to
make other arrangements for picking up photos. 

Dig around in the basement, you are certain to come across something
of interest. I know I did!  

HAIR will be performing May 4, 5 and 6 and May 11 and 12 in the Little
Theatre.
