An information-packed Berkeley High mailing was completed today for
9th through 11th grade families. As a first class mailing, it should
arrive home shortly. In the envelopes you should find the following
information:

1. your student's transcript,
2. the courses they have selected for next year, and,
3. a cover letter.

In addition, 10th grade students who took the Exit Exam will find

4. their test results and
5. a cover letter.

If for some reason you do not receive either three sheets of paper
(or five if you are a sophomore), please come to the registrar's
office (opposite the front desk in the Admin Building) and Rhonda
Jefferson can supply the missing information if it is available. In
some cases, for instance, student have not yet filled out a request
for next year's courses so it will not be available.

Please look over the information in the packet carefully. Your child
has until April 20th to make changes to his or her course requests.
There are counselors in the computer labs 7th period to assist them
with their changes.

The mailing was very complicated. Many many thanks to the following
wonderful volunteers who made it happen:

Kim Boston, Yvonne Donnelley, Susie Young, Frauke (visitor from
Germany), Shawna Hartman Brotsky, Karen Soe-lai, Sachi Nagai-Kobori,
Nancy Yep, Lissa Miner, Sherry Kassenbrock, Marissa Saunders, Camille
Peterson, Martha Moses, Susan Schaller, Laura Louis, Pamela Veasey,
Ellen Felker, Marjorie Alvord, Amy Loebl. In addition, many thanks
to Jaime Keller and Susan Lawerence who showed up to help at the
senior meeting and Mary Ann Kassier who came for the junior meeting
even though it was cancelled! It was a busy day.

Thank you all very much,
Janet
