Hello BHS Families,

The freshman dance was success!  The students had a wonderful time and
many thanks to the family who donated items for the snack table.  This
week in student activities...

Seniors- It is cap and gown season!  For those of you who missed the
pre-sale discount, there is still time to order your cap and gown.
Achievers will be back at the school during lunch on March 30th.  Look
for the white tent and save the date!

Juniors- The junior prom is coming soon!  It will be April 21st at the
lovely Bayside Pavillion in Alameda.  Tickets are on sale now for
$55.00 during lunch on the Community Theatre steps and after school in
the Box Office or D-148.  If you are interested in being Jr. Prom King
or Queen come by D-148 for more information....  

The junior class could use your support, if you would like to donate
to the class of 2008 please send checks or money orders to BHS 1980
Allston Way 94704 attention Bobbye Reed c/o class of 2008.  

March 22nd Blood Drive, save the date.  If you are seventeen or an
adult who wants to give blood, please sign up; the class of 2008 would
love to see your there!  It will be in the Jacket Gym off Milvia
Street.

Sophomores-  The sophomore class is currently in the planning stages
for their next event.  Stay tuned for more information...

Freshman-  MORP or the backwards PROM was a success!  The students had
a good turnout.  Thank you to the family who brought the delicious
cookies, it was exactly what the snack table needed!  

ASB- With the leadership of the ASB officers, all of student
government will be sponsoring a Week of Service during the week of
March 19th-23rd.  The events are as follows:

Monday March 19th- Campus Clean up- 3:30-5:30 (Please come out to
support the leadership students in keeping our campus beautifu!)

Tuesday March 20th- Tutor Tuesday @ Washington Elementary.  The
leadership students will be tutoring the students at Washington
Elementary.  If you are interested in helping please come by D-148!

Wednesday March 21st- Club Day.  The clubs at BHS will be in the Quad
area showing their interest!  Are you looking for a club to join for
the rest of the year or next year?  Do you have a club you want to
display during club day?  Come by D-148 for more details.

Thurday March 22nd Blood Drive (see above, under "Juniors")  The blood
drive will be all day on March 22nd!

Friday March 23rd Red and Gold Day!  Show your Berkeley High School
spirit and wear Red and Gold on Friday.  Come out to the campus green
and have some delicious food with the BBQ club and the Baking Club!
