[BHS etree] SPORTS: BHS Basketball Update

The Berkeley High Girls Basketball team defeated Washington of Fremont
in the Donahue Gym last night and advance to the Championships of the
NCS Division I tournament against Monte Vista on Saturday night at
8:00 pm in the Donahue Gym.  

Their win earned them a spot in the Norcal Tournament which begins
next week.  Saturday's game follows the Division IV Boys Championship
between St Mary's and Cardinal Newman which starts at 6:00.  Tickets
are $9 and $6.  One ticket is good for both games.   No league passes
are accepted for this special event.  

The Berkeley High Boys lost in the semi-final round to MonteVista last
night.  Congratulations to Head Coach Brian Guinn and all the Berkeley
High Boys Basketball players on a strong 2007 season.
