Sherene Randle, an English teacher in the Comprehensive School and
Academic Choice program is taking approximately 100 9th and 10th grade
students on a field trip to the De Young Museum in San Frnacisco on
Tuesday March 6. Three teachers will be going on the trip, but she
needs approximately 8 to 10 more adults to accompany the group which
will be traveling by BART and bus. 
 
Ms. Randle's classes are reading "Things Fall Apart"  a 1958
English-language novel by Nigerian author Chinua Achebe. The classes
are visiting the De Young to see authentic Nigerian tribal art. The
museum admission is free but students and chaperones are each
responsible for their own transportation costs. (approximately $10.) 

If you can help on this field trip which will take place during the
school day, please contact Ms Randle at
