Dear Exit Exam Volunteers,

Thank you very much. Fifty three volunteers helped out over the 
course of the two day Exit Exam.  Some came for one slot, others for 
multiple.  It made a HUGE difference.  Over 750 sophomores took the 
test in four venues (the Jacket Gym, the Donahue, the library and the 
College and Career Center.)  On Tuesday, within 45 minutes everyone 
was checked in and the administrators were reading directions.  I 
thought that was impressive. But, on Wednesday the task was completed 
within half an hour.  Now, that WAS impressive. I have never seen 
such a smooth operation.  One that  simply could not have been done 
without your help, as neither could have the smooth checking out and 
the sorting and alphabetizing of the tests.

Berkeley High is more than fortunate to be surrounded by a committed 
and supportive community.  Our children are lucky,
