This Saturday, January 27, the Latino Education Summit 2007 will be 
held from 8:30-1:00 at Cal State East Bay in Hayward.  To find out

Here are some highlights:
Workshops for teachers, parents and middle and high school students 
on going to college- check out the list on the website.

12 workshops in Spanish, 20 workshops in English, interpretation 
headsets available for keynote presentations.

Amazing presenters/speakers: Robert Almazan, author of "The Color of 
Fear" and Edmundo Norte who will do a performance piece, "From the 
Barrio to Harvard."

Mairiachi Juvenil de Hayward

Resource Fair with an array of organizations that can be resources 
for you and your families.

The event is organized by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the 
Alameda County Office of Education, Cal State East Bay, Mills College 
Project Pathways, and there is something for everyone!
