*1.  Winter Holiday- School closed December 22- January 5th.  Season's
Greetings and Happy New Year!

*2. Late Start is this Wednesday, January 10, 2007.

includes a sober driver and a safe way home.  Brought to you by PASSHEN.

Clubs

1. Come to Condom Club, sponsored by PASSHEN!  Learn the facts about STD's,
HIV, and how to be safe!  Don't forget: you must attend the entire lunch
period to get a sticker on your ID.  Bring your lunch and Student ID to
H114 and join the club!  Wednesday at lunch, January 10th.

Senior / Junior Section

1.  Seniors - Scholarships for Latino students-this website has a long
list of scholarships available throughout the year.  Check it out at [

2. Summer Opportunities for all Students:  Summer Science and
Engineering program for High School Young women entering grades 9-12
in fall  2007, July 1-28, at Smith College.  For more information, go

3. University of San Andrews, Creative Writing and Scottish Studies
pre-college experience.  Open to students who have at least completed
10th grade.  Four week program taught by U of St. Andrews faculty.

Events/ Performance

1. The Jacket is looking for 3 new columnists for the 2nd semester.  If

to request an application or stop by G105.  Completed applications are due

SALES

1. If your club wants a page in the yearbook, come to H102 during 7th
period to claim your page.  Quarter, half, and full pages are being
sold. Please come as soon as possible.

2. Prices are $80.00 for yearbooks. Please purchase your yearbooks in H102
each day. Financial Assistance is also available to those who qualify see
Mr. Knight during 7th in H102 to apply.
